Join Lokesh Kumar, an acclaimed writer, director, producer, and award-winning filmmaker, on a transformative journey into the craft of acting. With over a decade of experience in the film industry, Lokesh began his journey in 2013 by making short films with raw conviction and limited resources.
His debut feature film My Son is Gay, a bold and sensitive coming-of-age drama, won multiple awards internationally and established him as a fearless storyteller. His second feature, the gritty crime thriller N4, is now streaming on Amazon Prime, showcasing his versatility as a filmmaker. Lokesh is also the Best Debut Director awardee at the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival.
He is the founder and festival director of the Magic Reel Film Festival and serves as the Creative Director of Sound Parti Studios, a 12,000 sq. ft. post-production facility in Chennai.
Lokesh also hosts Behind the Frame, a no-filter podcast where filmmaking, acting, and cinema business are discussed with insiders. A passionate coach and mentor, he regularly conducts acting and filmmaking workshops and hires promising talent directly for his own productions.
